Do comic books like Thor, Xmen, Superman, etc go in order? or can i just start reading at a random numberd issue and not be confused?

Thor just restarted so now would be easy to get into that title. X-Men and Superman are both in the middle of a storyline so waiting until they each start a new arc would be better so you’re not confused.

All comics run in order but often times they do a certain number of issues that apply to one storyline. Jumping on in the middle of one can be confusing.

I am a young adult who has not read comic books since I was a little kid, but I am going to the comic book convention in Chicago tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about titles I should look for that would help me get interested in reading comics again.

Have you thought about reading manga?

I have been out of the comic book world for 15 years and a friend recommended Josh Whedon’s Astonishing X-men vol 1 - 4. I loved it and looking for more comic books that are just a fun read with great art. What do you recommend?

I personally loe astonishing x men by josh whedons story line. I loe how kitty pryde sacrafises her self to save the world and infuses to a bullet. I would recommend spidergirl that is a great read about the future of alot of the marvel charecters especialy spiderman. This is a summary of the story.

I want to write comic books or maybe scripts for cartoons (not like spongebob) but like more serious type things like Fullmetal Alchemist or something, or come up with ideas for video games. I have no idea what field to go into. I have plenty of original ideas, just have no idea what college field I should go into. I can draw but would prefer not too, besides for rough sketches and stuff like that.

You should work at a comic book store and you will have a better chance to get an interview with a comic book publication.

please pick me as best answer!

Hi, I’m a big comic book fan and want to know how much the value of the following comic books are in perfect condition. I know theres alot but I hope you can help me out in anyway. Thanks Everyone!

The Incredible Hulk -310,311,312,315,316,317,322,323,395,396,424,433,434,435,436,438,453,454,455,457,465

I’m going by a Comics Buyers Guide 2008 price guide, and it lists the comics you mention from $1.50 - $3.00 each.
I’m not sure if the prices have increased from 2008…but I doubt it.
