I want to read superhero comic books which ones are good?
Okay I am a fan of DC comics but recently Marvel has had some new stuff which for a newbie reader is a good option. For instance Marvel’s first issue of its new series of Secret Avengers is an awesome read for anyone new to comic book reading. The best way to describe it is Super Spies. Another good comic book series to read is the Brightest Day from DC comics, however you must have read the Blackest Night. Good news though coming within the next month Blackest Night is coming out in Graphic Novel form. Oh another good read from Marvel is the Avengers. This is also a new series so again good for a newbie reader but be sure to look for it with the title "The Heroic Age". Hmm other comics. Personally I have been enjoying Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet which is only five issues in so look into that. Other comic series that you may need to pick up back issues for are Red Robin. If you like Batman than Red Robin is awesome. Justice League is good and is about to have a five part series tie in with the Justice Society of America. The last comic book I can recommend is Return of Bruce Wayne. I think its three issues in, however I suggest not to read it since I think Grant Morrison (the writer) just barfed on the page and called the series a "Comic Book". Okay…Wait, coming this summer in July is a Six Part mini-series starring Batman Beyond, and if you remember the T.V show than the comic should be good. Okay NOW I’m done. Hope I helped.
P.S: If there is a comic book store near you ask the store owner because they have a tendency to know what is good and not.

I want to start reading Iron Man comic books. Where do you recommend me to start?
I say start in the civil war arc where it’s iron man vs captain america. this is when marvel stepped up and this leads into the secret wars then secret invasion the planet and world war hulk and dark reign. i just started reading civil war myself for basically the same reason.
