I remember you could sell old classic graphic novels for good money.
I have 2 boxes full of comic books since i was a kid, but since our economy has changed so much in recent years, i was wondering if i should even bother selling them?
They can be worth a lot of money.
If they are from mid-1980’s till today, comics probably won’t make much money. Other than some exceptions, most of those comics are not that rare.
If the comics are from the early 1980’s or earlier (60’s or 70’s) then there is a greater chance of them being worth a lot of money. And as other people mentioned, it depends of the condition.

To answer your last question, you should probably hold on to your comics until the economy picks back up. (just my opinion)

As it has always been with comics, it depends on the issue, the condition of the issue, and whether or not you can find someone who wants it. It just may be harder to find potential buyers at ht moment. I’d probably wait until the economy hit an upswing, and it will.

Depending the issue and the condition of the comic. Popular ones are like spiderman, x-men.
