Back in the golden and silver age of comics, many comic book creators were Jewish so they didn't write the world as a 100% Christian world. That said, comics do try to remain fairly neutral when it comes to religions, just avoid Garth Ennis' comics. He's a wonderful writer, but he tends to question God's works a lot in his works.
