You're in luck! Years ago, Paradox Press ( a division of DC Comics) published a line called Big Books. Each one contained several dozen true stories based on different topics. One of them is the Big Book of Urban Legends, and it was the best in the series!

Do yourself a favor and pick this up. I'd really like to hear if you take my advice, so message me if you do!

The whole Swamp Thing saga is based on the urban legend of a manlike creature roaming the Louisian bayou country, but it not a man, but a mass of mud and plants, with the roots holding it all together.

The 'Mothman' character mentioned in Watchmen may have something to do with the UL by that name.

Those are the only ones I can think of right now.
References :
I can't think of one specifically with urban legends. The closest that I can think of is "Grimm Fairy Tales" by Zenescope Comics. They take stories like "Little Red Riding Hood" and turn them into horror stories.
