   Honestly, you don't. This is going to look pretty lame and like a bachelor pad. Do you have another room, maybe an office, game room, or den, where you could put them up?

   Maybe you could make color copies of the covers, get them matted and framed and theme the room in that manner as well. Pick a bold color from one of the covers to use as an accent color. Use a bold color as a main color on the walls as well.

   The best way to preserve the comic books is to frame them, using acid-free matting and a special glass. It is expensive but will keep the comics for years. You can then easily display them in groupings. You could also scatter them on a coffee or end table, then cover with glass cut to fit the table.

   You can purchase a room divider that holds pictures and place the comics in the frames. That way you can change them regularly and you are not messing up the rest of your walls or damaging the comic books. Maybe you should have him make you something similar to be the exact size for the comic books if he is so anxious to display them in your living room. Or you could try and find an old metal Magazine wrack from a display at a store, paint it a bright colour and put that in your house with the comics.
