Im on the fence with Deadpool: MWaM, its just not as good as the Way’s series…I also dont like Bong Dazo’s art…I am still giving it a shot though because I want to see the interactions between Deadpool and Zombie-Head Deadpool.
I don’t know, I … I don’t know, I liked Monica Rambeau in Nextwave but I don’t think I’ll pick up Marvel Divas, it sounds a bit patronizing. I mean, as a female reader I enjoyed Dan Slott’s run on She-Hulk, Buffy season 8 and the Pre-Secret Invasion Ms.Marvel for its feminine appeal because it treated them as individuals instead of gender stereotypes. They faced romantic situations & such, but it didn’t take away from their heroic cred. Girls read comics too, but I just don’t go for appeals to girls only.
Is the handsome … Is the handsome Superpowerd man with rippling muscles who gets from random chicks all the time and still is loved by everyone, while saving the world, degrading or insulting to you? Well that should answer your question.
I really liked … I really liked Divas. It’s a lot of fun and has some of my favorite characters in it. I think it’s elitist to think everything needs to be dead-serious all the time. It’s like gamers who think FPS is the only valid gaming.
Sirens = better story

they expect girl comic book readers to be the sex and the city types? whoever pitched this is a doof, or this is just a joke book that they printed just for the of it..
Agree with Justin - … Agree with Justin — not happy at all about Emma turning (returning??) to the dark side. They turned her into my second fave female character, and after ruining my first favorite (Scarlet Witch), I’ll be really disappointed if she really does become a bad guy again.
Merc With The Mouth … Merc With The Mouth was great. Did anyone else feel that the art was more “deadpool-ish” then in the normal Deadpool book?
(I love Paco’s art. He’s still one of my favorite artiests. Just saying this art felt…very deadpool)
It’s insulting to think that that’s all girls want in a comic book. In a comic books we want strong female characters (of realistic body types) following a great story, not sitting around talking about stereotypical girl things.
I read Marvel Divas … I read Marvel Divas and am female. UGH. That was written by a guy, wasn’t it? It read like a guy who had seen SitC and how he imagined girls talked. I feel rather insulted that I’m supposed to enjoy it. Thankfully, it’s only 4 issues so I won’t have to see it on shelves for too long.
