The Guardians of … The Guardians of the Galaxy is definitely the most consistently entertaining title that Marvel has going now, and certainly one of the funniest. Shame on you Pete for not appreciating GoG.
I am Groot!!!
only thing I liked … only thing I liked about this was Darkhawk getting some time to shine. Other than that it featured mostly character I didnt care about (Inhumans) or didnt know nor care about (Vulcan, Starjammers) Not an X-Men fan and don’t follow their characters much.
just keep it … just keep it separate from earth stuff, at least for a while. if they are going to build towards another annihilation level thing, i hope its at least a year or two away; they lose their magic when they are done to often.
WOK could have been … WOK could have been great but it was only good. Pelletier’s art is great except when he’s drawing jaws or mouths. Also, and I know this is going to sound so freaking stupid, but they could have used a different font for lettering. A more regal or stoic font would have lent a more serious tone to this even. Admittedly, never have I sounded more like a fanboy.
No-one ed that … No-one ed that this mini, which ended with issue 6, is still going on? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I would have bought the 8 issue mini if that was what it was going to be, but to make this a 6 issue run and then add issues (that we really need to buy to get the entire picture) just gets annoying. Ya know?
no dont crossover … no dont crossover i like it seperate plus id like the titles to get some independence for a while im burnt out of events
i loved all the stuff they did with gladiator
except his cousin they area already ripping off the gl corp with nova corp do they have to make gladiator more of a superman rippoff then he already is
Never been crazy on … Never been crazy on the recent Inhumans stuff, but WOK kept me interested all the way, and I wanna see where Crystal/Ronan is going.
Great ‘event’ all told, but still for me the best thing was seeing Darkhawk step up and prove Stan Lee’s claim that “there’s no such thing as a bad character, only bad writers.” There’s potential in anything with the right approach and DnA proved it to the point that if anyone but DnA do a Darkhawk ongoing, I’ll probably give it a miss.
i loved it, it was … i loved it, it was awesome, i liked the nova tie-ins, *spoiler* it would be great if vulcan came bak as a form of energy or the same thing with black bolt but with him, he has his voice bak *end of spoiler*
I think this is one … I think this is one of the few things Marvel is doing right. It is it’s own seperate story that had an ending and doesn’t have to be bogged down by Dark Reign which meanders everywhere.
This cosmic stuff has been a great surprise and it deserves to be. It’s a good story. It’s not forced, it’s enjoyable and that’s what an event should be.
do you guys have … do you guys have actual day jobs because it would seem hard for you to keep them when you guys read so many comics and drink so much, or is that the job? if so I’d like to get and application…
I’m not a big fanof … I’m not a big fanof all the comic stuff, I blame Silver Surfer for going at nasum about the ‘power cosmic’, probably the worst drinking buddy in the cosmos
“I’m a sucker for … “I’m a sucker for Inhumans…when did that happen” LOL
I loved War of Kings and can’t wait to read the epilogue. I think the cosmic stuff should still stay separate from the rest the marvel. The story telling and action have been so good and I dont want to see that get ruined by continuity.
LOVED War of Kings. … LOVED War of Kings. Main reason: It doesn’t get mudded up with all the Marvel continuity that sometimes derails titles in a negative way. Not sure I’d want MORE cosmic stuff. It’s at a happy manageable place for the D&A team. Maybe that’s why it works. Tight focused writing.

Marvel’s cosmic stuff is their best.
Galactus, Silver Surfer, Thanos, Watcher, Stranger, Beyonder, Kree, Skrull, Quasar, Adam Warlock, Beta-Ray Bill, Abraxas, Eon, Infinity, Ego, Eternity, Death etc.
Seriously, their BEST stuff has always been their cosmic stuff.
Infinity Gauntlet, Secret Wars etc. were all epic and timeless!
