Hi,

look on eBay and see what the comics you have are going for..asking price AND completed searches.

Individuals sell if they're old or special but ordinary comics do better in sets. Good sets are the same title with a few in a row but if you don't have in a row then try to link them similarly (superheroes together, war comics together, ghost comics together etc.)

Comic stores will not give you anything but excuses, "I already have six of these and they're not selling...but I'll give you 5 bucks for it" Don't fall for that.

Also what kind are they and how old? Great shape or looks like a car ran over it then it fell into a ditch?

Generally comic books from the 1980's and newer go for a couple of dollars each if in great shape but not all - too many copies around and most comic collectors already have it.

If they're from before the 80's (the older the better) and are in good decent shape, they would start to be worth a few dollars each and even better depending on the condition, kind of book (superhero or funnybook), age and other factors.

Check on the internet by typing in the name, # and year, this should give you an idea of what you have and what you might get for it.

If you do have older ones, it might be worth picking up a price guide for comics (Robert M. Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide) it's about 35 dollars depending where you live.

Hope this helps.

Actually you should try both on ebay you can sell together and start at the lowest price you are welling to sell and maybe get even more. a comic store may be good but u may not make enough profit b/c they looking for profit themselves. I would say try ebay. I love ebay. Good Luck
References :
I think you should go to more than one comic book store so that you can get an estimate of the price that you can potentially get.

Best of luck!
