I’m closer to the opinion of the wolverine fan. The only reason I got any enjoyment out of the film is because I went into it knowing that the film didn’t care about the Wolverine I know. As an action movie it sort of succeeds. As a film based on a classic comic book character, it fails. The film takes awesome characters from the comics and craps on them, giving them a few minutes. Hardly any character resembles the one from the comic. The people involved don’t read comics.

i think what would have been good for the movie would have been to make two versions of the movie like they did the spawn movie. make one R rated and make the other PG-13 for the kiddies/pre-teens. it would have made up for the not so epic special effects.

I didn’t mind the …
I didn’t mind the movie however I did find it dull in many places. I did like Deadpool as a *new* character, but I agree that he was NOT the Deadpool I know and love. However, I’m intrigued to see what they do with that after credits shot, if they are going to make a movie for him, as he did break the fourth wall. I am kind of intrigued.
